Vancouver is an iconic garden destination, thanks to a climate which brings a long growing season. This summer immerse yourself in four diverse local gardens. UBC Botanical Gardens, Canada’s oldest university botanical garden includes significant collections of magnolias, maples and rhododendrons, an Asian Garden and the Physic Garden showcasing medicinal plants from medieval Europe.

VanDusen Gardens is a 22-hectare outdoor oasis with over 7,500 kinds of plant species and varieties from around the world. Bloedel Conservatory is a domed lush paradise atop Vancouver’s highest point. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Garden is an authentic representation of Ming Dynasty-era tradition and the first of its kind outside China. Let’s be tourists in our own city this summer.
