Paramount Travel strongly recommends that all passengers travelling should carry out-of-province medical and cancellation insurance coverage. Paramount offers very competitive travel insurance rates.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
- For Coach tours 4 days or less a $50 per person deposit is required at time of booking
- For Coach tours 5 days or more a $200 per person deposit is required at time of booking
- For Cruises & Specialty Tours deposit requirements and final payment dates are available at time of booking
FINAL PAYMENT dates are 45-60 days prior to tour departure. This date will be given to you at time of booking. Final payment will be processed automatically on the final payment date. All consumer travel funds are held in a trust fund as per CPBC Guidelines.
Deposits are fully refundable up to FINAL PAYMENT date unless otherwise noted. After FINAL PAYMENT date, all payments applied are 100% Non-Refundable and could be claimed through cancellation insurance. Should Paramount Travel cancel any tour, all payments are 100% refundable.
COUPONS & PROMOTIONS
Coupons and Promotional Discounts must be redeemed at time of booking. No discounts will be given after booking and payments are made. Coupons and other discounts do not apply to bookings made through Travel Agencies or any discounted packages. Restrictions apply.
All tours require the passenger’s full legal name as shown on passport and must be provided at the time of booking. For tours including Cruise, Air and/or Rail, additional passport information is required upon booking. If changes to names are required, an administration fee will be applied.
Persons requiring more than minor assistance must be accompanied by a travelling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the assistance required.
Paramount Travel will advise hotels of any special requests such as near elevator, lower floor, etc. provided this information is provided at time of booking. Every effort is made to meet these requests but cannot be guaranteed.
Seat rotation is mandatory on all our tours over 4 days in length. Exceptions can be made for medical reasons. All seating is assigned prior to departure.

FRASER VALLEY & HORSESHOE BAY – Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack & Horseshoe Bay
– additional charge of $50 per person apply.
VANCOUVER ISLAND – Greater Victoria & Nanaimo included on all group tours over $1,500 per person.
Parksville, Qualicum, Duncan, Ladysmith – additional charges of $50 per person apply
PRE-NIGHTS – Some tours require travellers to arrive in the lower mainland the night before.
At time of booking the options will be presented.
One suitcase (max 25kg) per person plus one carry-on. Although every effort is made to handle passengers luggage carefully, we cannot be responsible, assume liability or accept claims for loss or damage to luggage due to breakage, theft or wear and tear through hotel or group carrier handling.
ITINERARY & HOTEL CHANGES
Paramount Travel reserves the right to make, with or without notice, any changes in hotel, transportation, accommodation or schedule without liability to the client. Paramount Travel reserves the right to cancel for any valid reason any trip or tour without liability on the part of Paramount Travel or its agents. Paramount Travel reserves the right to alter or modify the itinerary and substitute hotels and/or inclusions as it is deemed necessary with the best interest of the client in mind.
It is the responsibility and at the expense of passengers to obtain all documents required by all relevant government authorities for travel including ESTA for foreign passport holders. Canadian citizens must carry proof of citizenship (Passport, NEXUS or Enhanced Driver’s License). Passengers must make the required documents in hand prior to departure. Passengers that fail to provide the required documents may be denied boarding privileges by the carrier or relevant authorities without further recourse or the possibility of a refund.
Paramount Travel will not be liable for any losses, claims, damages, accident, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment of any nature or kind whatsoever to you or your travelling companions, or group members resulting from events beyond our or a supplier’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, weather conditions, floods, earthquakes, strikes, lockouts or other labour disputes or disruptions, wars, terrorism, riots, or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities owing to a force major.
Paramount Travel reserves the right to terminate the tour of any person who is abusive of others or whose behavior disrupts the operation of the tour without further recourse or possibility of refund.
