Christmas is a magical time in Nashville.  The city lights change from honky-tonk neon orange and yellow to festive holiday reds, greens, gold and silver.  Stay at the famed Gaylord Opryland Resort in the heart of Nashville. Take in the sights and sounds of the holidays with a guided “Music City Tour” and enjoy a show at the iconic Grand Ole Opry.  Enjoy a lunch cruise and hit holiday show onboard the General Jackson Showboat and then hop on a Delta Riverboat cruise.  The highlight will surely be a traditional country Christmas Concert with Amy Grant and Vince Gill at the Ryman Auditorium.

 

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 – VANCOUVER, BC

Join together overnight near the Vancouver airport before tomorrow’s flight to Nashville.

DAY 2 – NASHVILLE, TN

Arrive at the Music City of Nashville, unpack for our four-night stay at the exciting Gaylord Opryland Resort with an evening admission to the magical spectacle of ICE!, featuring your favourite scenes from the television classic, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.  See two million pounds of ice displaying hand carved ice sculptures bring the holiday classic to life.

DAY 3 – NASHVILLE

Today, embark on a guided city sightseeing tour with a stop at the Country Music Hall of Fame where you’ll see priceless artifacts and gain insights into the people who have shaped country music.  Enjoy this evening at the iconic Grand Ole Opry, the world-famous home of country music!

The Grand Ole Opry is the world’s longest-running radio show in country music or otherwise. The weekly show has been broadcasting for 96 years.

EXPERIENCES & HIGHLIGHTS

Gaylord Opryland Resort is an experience.  It offers 9 acres of airy, indoor garden atriums, award winning restaurants and bars and an exciting lineup of activities and entertainment.

The 350,000 square foot Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum boasts nearly 200,000 sound recordings, 500,000 photographs and so much more.  Pre-fame, Trisha Yearwood got her dream job there as a Tour Guide.

DAY 4 – NASHVILLE

Jump onboard the General Jackson Showboat for a lunch cruise and listen to an energetic showband performing country holiday favourites.  Later, we hop on a Delta River Flatboat and gently wind your way through the Gaylord Opryland’s lush indoor garden and waterfalls and an 85 ft. fountain as well as numerous shops and restaurants.

DAY 5 – NASHVILLE

Enjoy a leisurely free day in downtown Nashville then join everyone for dinner at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red restaurant, followed by the much loved annual Christmas Concert by Nashville singer-songwriter, Amy Grant and her husband Vince Gill at the Ryman Auditorium.

DAY 6 – RETURN HOME

We make our way back to Vancouver with country Christmas tunes swimming in our heads!
