TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 – TULALIP, WA

Enjoy the early fall weather as we make our way to the luxurious Tulalip Resort Casino for our overnight stay.

DAY 2 – PORTLAND, OR

On our way to Mt. St. Helen’s and the Johnston Ridge Observatory, enjoy a lunch stop at the quaint Fire Mountain Grill.  We end our day in Portland for two nights at the Holiday Inn Columbia Riverfront.

SPOTLIGHT

Before erupting, Mt. St. Helens was 9,677 feet.  More than 1,300 feet was taken off the top of the volcano by the historic blast on March 27, 1980.

DAY 3 – PORTLAND

Following breakfast, we begin our city tour of Portland with a fun and informative Step- on Guide that highlights Portland’s colourful history.

EXPERIENCES & HIGHLIGHTS

From the grandeur of the once forested slopes of Mt. St. Helen’s to the stunning beauty of Crater Lake; travel the ‘King of Roads’ where spectacular waterfalls, architectural gems and magnificent viewpoints await to the Desert Museum in Bend.

Hop aboard the Mt. Hood Railroad and witness picturesque views of snow-capped mountain peaks as you wind your way through vineyards & orchards.

DAY 4 – ROSEBURG, OR

Enroute to Roseburg, we stop at the Wildlife Animal Safari Park for a drive-thru guided tour.  Enjoy some of the world’s most exotic wildlife. Our hotel tonight is the Sleep Inn.

DAY 5 – BEND, OR

Travel the incredibly scenic “Highway of Waterfalls”. View the awe-inspiring Clearwater and Whitehorse Falls as well as the famous azure blue of Crater Lake. Lunch and a Ranger talk will be included at the Rim Village Café.

SPOTLIGHT

At 1,943 feet deep, Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the US. It is famous for its’ beautiful blue colour and is the cleanest and clearest lake in the world.

DAY 6 – HOOD RIVER, OR

As we head to Hood River, our first stop is the fascinating High Desert Museum. Lunch is at Black Bear Diner then a scenic drive along the Columbia Gorge to the spectacular Multnomah Falls.

The most visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest, Multnomah Falls welcomes more than 2 million visitors each year and is Oregon’s tallest waterfall at 620 ft.

DAY 7 – YAKIMA, WA

All aboard the Mt. Hood Railroad for a historic ride through the lower Hood River Valley. Our hotel tonight is the Hilton Garden Inn Yakima.

DAY 8 – TULALIP, WA

Today we visit the village of Leavenworth enroute to our final evening back at the Tulalip Resort Casino.

DAY 9 – RETURN HOME
