The Oregon Coast boasts breathtaking and diverse scenic beauty, offering a stunning combination of rugged coastlines, pristine beaches, lush forests and picturesque coastal towns. Every year for more than a century, the City of Roses has thrown itself a massive party in the form of the Portland Rose Festival. It is the largest and longest-running show in the nation.
TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 – TULALIP, WA
Our Oregon adventure begins with an overnight at the luxurious Tulalip Resort Casino.
DAY 2 – PORTLAND, OR
Board Amtrak for a scenic journey between Everett and Portland. Unpack for three nights at the downtown Doubletree by Hilton.

The Portland Rose Festival, established in 1907 is the longest and largest running show in the US, known for its vibrant celebration of roses and community spirit.
DAY 3 – PORTLAND
Explore the Rose Festival float barn for a behind-the-scenes tour of where the floats are decorated for the parade. Take in the spectacular floral display at the International Rose Test Garden followed by The Rose Show at Lloyd Center where the exquisite beauty and fragrances from 4,000 blooms emanate.
EXPERIENCES & HIGHLIGHTS
Each year, the Portland Grand Parade features traditional large all-floral floats as well as the popular mini floats. Live bands, equestrian units, marching groups, drill teams, dancers and so much more, there’s something for everyone!
Experience the charm of quaint oceanfront towns including Newport and Cannon Beach and walk the spectacular beaches. This tour captures the wonder and awe of the Oregon Coast!
DAY 4 – PORTLAND
For over 100 years, the Grand Floral Parade has helped define the Festival as one of the world’s greatest celebrations. This signature event promises to entertain with its’ larger-than-life floral floats, marching bands and more. Cruise the Willamette River aboard the Portland Spirit with lunch included.

Portland’s Rose Test Garden was created during WWI as a safe haven for hybrid roses from Europe. It is home to over 10,000 rose bushes representing more than 650 varieties.
DAY 5 – NEWPORT, OR
Enroute to the Coast, visit the Evergreen Aviation Museum home to the famous Spruce Goose, the largest wooden airplane ever built. Arrive in Newport this afternoon. Dip your toes in the ocean right outside your oceanfront room.
DAY 6 – SEASIDE, OR
Explore Cannon Beach known for Haystack Rock and the Tillamook Creamery. Enjoy the night in the resort town of Seaside with a visit to the aquarium or a walk on the promenade.
DAY 7 – SWINOMISH, WA
Visit the Astoria Column with its 360-degree views and cross the longest, continuous truss bridge in North America. Travel the Kitsap Peninsula to Port Townsend, known for its Victorian homes. It’s a short ferry crossing to Whidby Island then over the stunning Deception Pass Bridge to our final night at Swinomish Casino and Lodge.
