TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 – REVELSTOKE, BC

Enjoy the relaxed pace as we make the journey to Revelstoke.  Arrive at the Regent Hotel located in the heart of downtown. Explore and relish in the town’s wonderful history and culture.

DAY 2 – CALGARY, AB

Take in the amazing scenery as we wind our way through some of the world’s most breathtaking mountains including a stop in stunning Lake Louise. Arriving in Calgary this afternoon, enjoy a relaxing evening and an included Group Dinner. Settle in at the Ramada Plaza Calgary Downtown.

EXPERIENCES & HIGHLIGHTS

The Royal Tyrrell Museum is Canada’s only museum dedicated exclusively to the study of ancient life. It houses the world’s largest selection of dinosaurs with hundreds of thousands of fossils and a magnitude of reconstructed displays.

The Calgary Tower offers the best views of the city and the majestic Rocky Mountains located 191 metres about the downtown core. It’s a must-see during any visit to Calgary.

DAY 3 – DRUMHELLER, AB

Discover this unique city and learn about the history of Calgary during a city tour with a local expert. Witness spectacular 360⁰ views of Calgary’s unique skyline, landmarks and the Rocky Mountains from the Observation Deck at the Calgary Tower before heading to Drumheller, the Dinosaur capital of the world! Here, uncover  many (pre)historic adventures.

SPOTLIGHT

The u-shaped Horseshoe Canyon reveals the layers of time down to the Cretaceous period some 70-Million years ago.

Hoodoos are formed through a repetitive process of freezing, melting, erosion and wind. Drumheller’s hoodoos are said to be 70 to 75 million years old.

DAY 4 – DRUMHELLER

Uncover a collection of more than 800 fossils on display at the famous Royal Tyrrell Museum. Stand on the edge of the canyon and survey the beauty and mystery of the Badlands. View the fascinating sandstone sculptures that took millions of years to create.

DAY 5 – BANFF, AB

Tour the Dinosaur Provincial Park UNESCO World Heritage Site today known for its striking badland topography and extensive amount of dinosaur fossils. Head to Banff and have a relaxing evening in the village!

SPOTLIGHT

Dinosaur Provincial Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where 58 dinosaur species have been discovered. Exhibits about dinosaurs, fossils and the geology of the park and more can be discovered.

DAY 6 – THREE VALLEY GAP, BC

Explore Banff National Park this morning before heading to Three Valley Gap for our final evening. Wander the historic Heritage Ghost Town and relive the pioneer days of the late 1800’s.

DAY 7 – RETURN HOME
