EXPERIENCES & HIGHLIGHTS

Van Dusen Gardens is an oasis right in the heart of Vancouver and features over 7500 plant species from around the world. The Bloedel Conservatory contains three climate zones, home to more than 500 varieties of plants and more than 100 free-flying exotic birds. Abkhazi Gardens, ‘The Garden that Love Built’, was created by Prince and Princess Abkhazi in 1946. Craigdarroch Castle was once home to the Dunsmuir family who had a colourful history.

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 – VANCOUVER, BC

Begin with a visit to the Potters Garden Store and a scrumptious buffet lunch before arriving at The Rosedale on Robson, for a two nights stay.

DAY 2 – VANCOUVER

Explore Queen Elizabeth Park, strolling through its beautiful quarry gardens and enjoying spectacular city and mountain views. Continue to Granville Island to browse the public market and shops, then discover the spring blooms and landscaped grounds of Van Dusen Botanical Gardens. End the day with dinner at the historic Sylvia Hotel.

DAY 3 – VICTORIA, BC

Visit the tranquil Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden before boarding the ferry to Vancouver Island. Continue to Victoria and discover the enchanting Abkhazi Garden, renowned for its exquisite design and mature gardens. Settle in for a three-night stay at Huntingdon Manor near the Inner Harbour.

DAY 4 – VICTORIA

Step into Victoria’s past at magnificent Craigdarroch Castle, an opulent 1890s Victorian mansion beautifully restored, before indulging in afternoon tea at the elegant Pendray Teahouse. Continue to Government House Gardens, a sanctuary of landscaped gardens, colourful blooms and stately heritage buildings.

DAY 5 – VICTORIA

Explore the grandeur of Hatley Castle and its sweeping Grounds. Then wander the world-famous Butchart Gardens, 55-acres of floral finery brilliance. End the day with a farewell dinner among old and new friends.

DAY 6 – RETURN HOME

Board BC Ferries to the return to the mainland, arriving home later today.
