TRAVEL INSURANCE

Paramount Travel strongly recommends that all passengers travelling should carry out-of-province medical and cancellation insurance coverage. Paramount offers very competitive travel insurance rates through AIG Travel Guard. Click Here for additional information.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

Coach Tours require a $100-$200 deposit per person at the time of booking. Cruises and Specialty Tours deposit requirements will be quoted at the time of booking. FINAL PAYMENT dates are 45-90 days prior to departure and this date will be given at the time of booking. Payments will automatically be processed on the final payment date. All consumer travel funds are held in trust and protected as per Consumer Protection BC guidelines.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Deposits are fully refundable up to final payment date unless otherwise noted. After final payment, all payments applied are 100% non-refundable. Should Paramount Travel cancel a tour, all payments are 100% refundable.

PROMOTIONS & LOYALTY PROGRAM

Promotional discounts, vouchers and gift certificates must be redeemed at the time of booking. No discounts will be given after final payment is made. Discounts do not apply to any third party bookings. Any loyalty program rewards are non-transferrable and are subject to change or cancellation at any time. Restrictions apply.

PROPER NAMES

All tours require the passenger’s full legal name as shown on passport and must be provided at time of booking. For tours including Cruise, Air or Rail, additional passport information is required upon booking. Should changes to names be required, an administration fee will be applied.

SPECIAL NEEDS & DIETARY RESTRICTIONS

Passengers requiring more than minor assistance must be accompanied by a travelling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the assistance required. Passengers with food allergies or dietary restrictions must notify us at time of booking. Every effort will be made to accommodate you but is not guaranteed.

SPECIAL REQUESTS & SEATING

Paramount Travel will advise hotels of any special requests provided this information is given at the time of booking. Every effort is made to meet these requests but cannot be guaranteed. All seating will be assigned. Exceptions will only be made for mobility challenges.

DOOR-TO-DOOR SERVICE

All Paramount Travel group tours include home pick-up from the Greater Vancouver area. For any other area including the Fraser Valley and Vancouver Island, services may be available but subject to additional charges.

BAGGAGE RESTRICTIONS

One suitcase (max 25kg) per person plus carry-on. Although every effort is made to handle passengers luggage carefully, we cannot be responsible, assume liability or accept claims for loss or damaged luggage due to breakage, theft or wear and tear through hotel or group carrier handling.

ITINERARY & FARE CHANGES

Paramount Travel reserves the right to alter or modify with or without notice the itinerary, inclusions, transportation and accommodations as it is deemed necessary with the best interest of the client in mind without liability to the company. Paramount Travel reserves the right to cancel for any valid reason any tour without liability. Due to the fluctuation of foreign exchange and fuel surcharges, Paramount Travel reserves the right to modify tour fares.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

It is the responsibility and expense of passengers to obtain all documents required by all relevant government authorities for travel. Passengers are required to carry Government-issued ID. Passengers must have the required documents in hand prior to departure. Passengers that fail to provide the required documents may be denied boarding by the carrier or relevant authorities without further recourse or possibility of refund. Your tour package contains a Well-Being Declaration which we require you to complete and submit to the Tour Manager prior to departure. All information gathered for this purpose is held in strictest confidence.

PRIVACY

All information gathered by Paramount Travel for purposes of the tour or marketing is confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties. Paramount Travel reserves the right to take photographs or video during any tour for marketing purposes including print media, website or social media without any compensation. By booking with Paramount Travel you agree to participate. Please notify us in writing should you wish to opt-out.

LIABILITIES

Paramount Travel Inc., nor any of its representatives shall be held responsible or be liable directly or indirectly for any delay, injury, loss or damage to any person or property occasioned by the neglect or default of any person or company providing transportation, accommodation or any other service in connection with these tours or damages resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, sickness, strike, quarantine, weather, breakdown, government restraints imposed owing to a force majeure or any other cause beyond our control. The right is reserved to withdraw all or part of any tour should conditions warrant and make such alterations in the itinerary without penalty. Paramount Travel reserves the right to terminate the tour of any person who is abusive of others or whose behavior disrupts the operation of the tour without further recourse or possibility of refund.
